Basic Linking Instructions
The standard convention for linking to Ultimate Online Music is:
<A HREF="http://www.ultmusic.com/index.htm" TARGET="_top">graphic or text</A>
Simply replace "graphic or text" with an image tag for the graphic you've selected or with actual text, such as "Click Here for the Ultimate Online Music Site!" (or something like that). You may also change the TARGET from "_top" to "new" if you don't want to totally lose your visitor. However, please don't omit the TARGET attribute completely; since ours is a frames environment itself, it doesn't lay out well within a secondary frames environment.
To establish a graphic link on your website to Ultimate Online Music, here is the most appropriate link that doesn't involve hosting the image on your own server:
<A HREF="http://www.ultmusic.com/index.htm" TARGET="_top">
To grab the above, just click and drag to select the entire thing, right click on the selected area, and click "copy". You can then paste it directly into the appropriate place in your HTML document.
If you want to host the graphic on your own site, just grab one of the two shown below.

If you have an artist or group fan site (or official site), and are participating in our discount rate for reciprocal linking, here is the proper procedure for establishing the reciprocal link from your site:
For text links, simply copy the following code and place it into your HTML:

Step 4: Insert the following "code" into an appropriate place in your HTML document(s).

NOTES:
You may need to modify some of the tag elements to make it work with your design. If, for example, you chose the lighter-version graphic, you will need to modify the image SRC="..." section to reflect the file "ultbutton4.gif" instead of "ultbutton3.gif"; (or you could just rename the file itself).
However, there are other things that you are free to change as well. Some artists may prefer to link directly to the genre page represented by their style of music (Jazz, Christian, etc.). That is certainly allowed. You may also want to change the TARGET="..." element. That's fine, too, but please see the note above. You may actually want a border. You may want to assign <FONT> attributes to the text and place the entire thing in a small table cell so that you can center the text above the graphic. This is all totally up to you, so long as you get the link right.
One last note: With text links, you are free to place the link at the bottom of the page so as not to have it interfere with your design or somehow end up dominating a page. We understand. However, for purposes of legitimacy, please do not set the <FONT SIZE="..."> attribute any smaller than "-1". And don't make it the same color as the background. Thanks.
